The “Treasure’s tree” inclusive municipal park project receives the Sipes 2022 “Best practices: a workshop of inclusive experiences and practices” award

On September 30th, as part of the “Inclusion in Action” conference sponsored and organized by SIPeS (Italian Society of Special Pedagogy) at the University of Salerno, the Inclusive Municipal Park of Padua project was awarded the SIPeS 2022 “Best Practices: a workshop of inclusive experiences and practices” award.

At the concluding social dinner, Elisabetta Ghedin, associate professor at the University of Padua and member of the SIPeS Executive Board, and Luigi D’Alonzo, full professor at the Catholic University of Milan and president of the SIPeS Executive Board, presented the award to Professor Enrica Polato, special pedagogist, PhD at the University of Padua and consultant to the Robert Hollman Foundation.

The scientific panel that awarded the prize was composed of special pedagogues from all over Italy. It was emphasized that the “Treasure Tree” park project features “aspects of relevant innovation and the desire to reduce all forms of discrimination and exclusion in all areas of social life”
