{"id":2270,"date":"2022-09-16T17:20:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T15:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondazioneroberthollman.it\/family-stays-restart-at-the-cannero-center-after-renovations\/"},"modified":"2024-02-02T17:36:03","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T16:36:03","slug":"at-the-centre-of-cannons-reparation-living-for-families-after-renovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondazioneroberthollman.it\/en\/at-the-centre-of-cannons-reparation-living-for-families-after-renovation\/","title":{"rendered":"family stays restart at the cannero center after renovations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Friday, September 16th, the Robert Hollman Foundation officially inaugurated the renovated spaces of the Cannero Riviera Center in the presence of local authorities.<\/p>\n\n<p>The renovation of the spaces covered the entire ground floor, where there is the secretariat and rooms for various psychoeducational and orthoptic activities, as well as the second floor that is dedicated to hosting families during their stays, counseling and supporting the development of children with visual impairment from zero to four years old.<\/p>\n\n<p>In light of the new needs that have emerged during the last two years of the pandemic, the spaces have been modernized and rationalized according to a new design that was also shared with the operators of the Cannero Riviera Center.<\/p>\n\n<p>Thanks to their personal and professional experience and in continuity with the same work done for the Padua branch of the Robert Hollman Foundation, the professionals provided guidance and suggestions to meet the needs of families affected by visual impairment, who are housed by the hundreds each year. Five rooms with en-suite bathrooms have been renovated, as well as the living room and the kitchen where parents can prepare meals and socialize with other families.<\/p>\n\n<p>Emanuela Pastorelli, health director of the Asl VCO, Alessandro Lana, president of the Verbano Cusio Ossola Province, and Federico Carmine, mayor of the municipality of Cannero Riviera, spoke at the opening
