After the long-awaited opening last June of the inclusive “Treasure Tree” municipal park <\/a>on Siena Street at Lower So\u010da, the time has also finally come for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for this green area of more than 9,000 square meters designed and built to facilitate play, foster relationships and sociability, and promote the well-being of everyone, each with his or her own specificities.<\/p>\n\n

The Inclusive Park of the City of Padua<\/strong> was realized thanks to the scientific design contribution of 17 entities, of which the Robert Hollman Foundation<\/strong> was the lead, and the financial contribution of dozens of entities, among which the Cariparo Foundation<\/strong> is the main donor, and hundreds of citizens who participated with their donations.<\/p>\n\n

SATURDAY, Sept. 20 at 12 noon<\/u><\/strong> the opening ceremony will include speeches by Sergio Giordani<\/strong>, mayor of Padua; Antonio Bressa,<\/strong> alderman for green areas of the City of Padua; Gilberto Muraro<\/strong>, president of the Cariparo Foundation; and Maria Eleonora Reffo<\/strong>, director general of the Robert Hollman Foundation.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the institutional moment, a full day of celebration is planned for all citizens, especially children and families. Here is the program: at 10 a.m.<\/u> <\/strong> will begin the free inclusive workshop dedicated to preschool and elementary school children, with a reading of the multicode book “The Treasure of the Enchanted Maze” byillustrator<\/strong> Nicoletta Bertelle<\/strong>. Immediately afterwards, children will go on a discovery tour of the accessible games with a map of the park. <\/p>\n\n

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12 noon, at 12:30 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> there will be the launching of flower seeds, which will color part of the gardens and orchard area in spring.<\/p>\n\n

At 1 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> an appetizer will be offered prepared by the kitchen workshop of the Two Palaces Prison, run by the T-essere social cooperative<\/strong>, with products donated by Despar<\/strong> and Coldiretti women.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At 2:30 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> sensory activities, games and proposals from some of the partners of the inclusive park will begin: Anffas Padua, Agora Association-Oic Foundation, Blue Flowers Association, Il Pulcino Association and Crescendo Cooperative, Phoniatrics Medical Center, Irpea Foundation and Lega del filo d’oro Foundation.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At 3:30 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> the artist Denis Varotto<\/u><\/strong> will offer children the free show “Kamishibai Man.”<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At 5:30 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> the festival concludes.<\/p>\n\n

Seventeen ENTITIES have contributed to the design of the park<\/strong>, led by the City of Padua and the Robert Hollman Foundation: Anfass Padua, Associazione Fiori Blu, Associazione Pulcino, Associazione Uniti per crescere, Centro Medico Foniatria, Coislha Social Cooperative, Federazione Nazionale delle Istituzioni Pro Ciechi di Padova, Irpea Foundation, Oic Foundation, Polis Group, Irifor Padua, Configliachi Institute, Lega del filo d’oro Padua, La Nostra Famiglia, Uildm Padua, Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti Padova and University of Padua.<\/p>\n\n

More than 1,300 PUPILS and their teachers from 27 CHILDREN’S AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS <\/strong>in the Padovano region proposed their ideas for a park by all and for all<\/p>\n\n
