Over the past few weeks, a major change has been taking place at the\u201cAlbero<\/a>del tesoro\u201d<\/a> inclusive municipal park on Via Siena, which will make it possible to best showcase this beautiful green space\u2014a place for play and community gathering\u2014on the outskirts of the city.<\/p>\n\n

The Robert Hollman Foundation will, in fact, conclude its adoption-related assignment on September 30<\/strong>: in the summer of 2025, it had accepted the City of Padua\u2019s proposal to oversee the opening and maintenance of the park until the management contract was awarded to the winning organizations through a public bidding process.<\/p>\n\n

“One year after its inauguration,” emphasized Deputy Mayor Antonio Bressa<\/strong> , responsible for Parks and Green Spaces for the City of Padua, “the “Albero del Tesoro” park is already a well-known asset, used by many Paduan families. Thanks to the support of the Robert Hollman Foundation, the potential of this 9,000-square-meter green, recreational, and social area in the Lower Isonzo region has been recognized. Now we are ready for a further step forward with the full management of the park by the entities awarded the public tender, namely the t-Esser<\/a> e Alternative<\/a> social cooperative and Virtus<\/a> Basket Padova<\/a> .<\/strong> From October, it will be up to them to further enhance the park, unique for its accessibility, as a welcoming community space, offering a more structured service to ensure continued opportunities for play, connection, and well-being for all, including through social and job placement projects.” <\/p>\n\n

Believing it was important to allow all citizens, children, and their families, to enjoy the new park from its inauguration, the Robert Hollman Foundation, at its own expense and without any profit, has overseen its openings and closures over the past year<\/strong> . It has also provided extraordinary mowing, cleaning, and maintenance; in collaboration with the Irpea Foundation<\/a> ,<\/a> it has overseen a retaking project for the park involving people with disabilities; it has provided free use of the hall to numerous classes and associations for their meetings and to families for children’s birthday parties, managing reservations and the logistical and organizational aspects. <\/p>\n\n

Thanks to the voluntary donations we received, we were able to make purchases for the park and its facilities (chairs for the community room, a changing table, a new tree for the hedge maze…).<\/p>\n\n

Now, therefore, it is time to take another step forward, following the official awarding of the contract to the social cooperative T-essere and the sports club Virtus Basket Padova (which already manages the adjacent Ilaria Alpi and Miran Hrovatin arena).<\/p>\n\n

Starting October 1, the new management team will take over, assuming responsibility for all expenses<\/strong> (utilities, administration, maintenance, mowing, etc.), will enable the park to fulfill its mission of hospitality and inclusion<\/strong>. Starting in March 2027, the park will also open a refreshment stand serving food and beverages, made possible through work inclusion projects designed to support people facing social marginalization.<\/p>\n\n

The services will be implemented, and citizens who choose to use the facilities of \u201cAlbero del Tesoro\u201d will help foster inclusion and the social economy by participating in the initiatives carried out by the T-essere cooperative. It is not merely an event or a celebration, but a choice to contribute to a society with more opportunities for everyone. <\/p>\n\n
