{"id":8039,"date":"2023-03-07T15:06:29","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T14:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondazioneroberthollman.it\/the-robert-hollman-foundation-participates-in-the-manifestation-agrumi-of-cannero-riviera-with-its-sensory-laboratory\/"},"modified":"2024-10-08T16:22:34","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T14:22:34","slug":"the-robert-hollman-foundation-participates-in-the-manifestation-agrumi-of-cannero-riviera-with-its-sensory-laboratory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondazioneroberthollman.it\/en\/the-robert-hollman-foundation-participates-in-the-manifestation-agrumi-of-cannero-riviera-with-its-sensory-laboratory\/","title":{"rendered":"With its sensory workshop, the Robert Hollman Foundation participates in &#8220;The Citrus Fruit of Cannero Riviera&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On the occasion of the 16th edition of &#8220;The Citrus Fruit of Cannero Riviera,&#8221; the Robert Hollman Foundation is also participating in the two weekends of the festival (March 11 and 12, March 18 and 19) with the <strong>sensory workshop &#8220;Hands Discovering Citrus Fruit.&#8221;<\/strong> The invitation is for everyone, young and old, to stick their hands inside a mysterious container and with the exclusive use of touch figure out what fruit is hiding inside. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The meeting is in the Civic Library on Schulze Street from 2 to 6 p.m. during the two event weekends.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Through two sleeves, hands will be able to touch, rub, and caress the peel and leaves. The discovery will be complemented by some information written in black (high-contrast font) and Braille. A panel will depict an illustrated drawing of a &#8220;facilitation&#8221; by which blind children approach fruit in general with their senses.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Also inside the small library in Cannero, the institutional video of the Robert Hollman Foundation, which was founded in Cannero itself more than 40 years ago and accompanies the growth and development of hundreds of children with visual impairment and their families every year, will also be presented. Foundation staff will also be present at certain times of the day to welcome participants and tell them about the Foundation&#8217;s goals and activities.During the Cannero festivities, the Foundation will decorate the bitter orange tree placed in the flowerbed at the entrance to its headquarters at 6 Oddone Clerici Street and planted last September by President Claire de Pont to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Robert Hollman&#8217;s passing and to reaffirm the Foundation&#8217;s deep connection with the City of Cannero Riviera. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
