Library

The Robert Hollman Foundation has a rich scientific library in four languages ​​(Italian, English, German, French) and a wide selection of magazines and articles in the field of visual impairment and multiple disabilities. In the two centers  a significant number of tactile books specially created for children with visual impairment are available.

 

The books and magazines available to us cover the following topics:

  • medicine, particularly ophthalmology, neonatology, neurology, psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, pediatrics, audiology, genetics, alternative medicine;
  • psychology and pedagogy, especially texts concerning the problems of children that we follow and their families;
  • rehabilitative interventions, especially early intervention and the proposed activities at the Foundation;
  • legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities;
  • Special equipment and aids;
  • proceedings of national and international conferences;
  • statistics.



You can consult our online database to search, by keywords, texts or articles of interest.

An information card about the text/article useful for the retrieval of the same will be displayed.

 

 

The Library is managed at our headquarters in Cannero, where the material can be viewed by all specialists working in the field, as well as trainees and students for research and/or dissertations, as well as parents.
