Fiori Blu – Friends of the Robert Hollman Foundation is a national association established in 2012 by a group of parents of children with visual impairment that are followed by the Robert Hollman Foundation’s two centers, which are located in Padua and Cannero Riviera. The association’s main objective is to support the Foundation’s clinical, educational, cultural and scientific activities.
It achieves its goals through targeted solidarity actions, such as Christmas and Easter events and campaigns, but also by raising awareness for the five per thousand donation and spontaneous contributions by companies and individuals.
Fiori Blu is also committed to fund any projects of public and private organizations that share their same values and mission to foster the autonomy and inclusion of blind and visually impaired children.
The main projects financed in recent years have been covering part of the running costs of the Padua Center’s indoor swimming pool; the purchase of diagnostic instrumentation; the publication and distribution of tactile illustrated books; and the financing of Irifor Veneto’s project “Perché siamo qui… per crescere insieme” (“Why we are here… to grow together”).
The association is headquartered at the Padua Center in Via Siena 1. If you are interested in becoming a member or getting further information, just send an e-mail to [email protected] or visit our websitewww.associazionefioriblu.it
