The final renovation project has begun in Cannero

Once the renovation and modernization work—which began last June and is scheduled to be completed in early 2028— is finished, the Cannero Riviera Center will be a more welcoming and functional space for children, families, and the staff who work there every day. To this end, in order to more effectively meet all care needs, the project incorporates the recommendations and measures identified through the clinical experience of the Foundation’s professionals in Cannero.

Parents have long been informed that , despite the ongoing construction work, stays will still be guaranteed within the facility, with the exception of certain periods when activities will take place in spaces made available by the parish of Cannero Riviera. In such cases, since it will not be possible to stay at the Foundation, a nearby apartment will be provided free of charge, thanks to the generous donations received.

In an effort to improve its facilities and keep them welcoming, modern, and comfortable, the Robert Hollman Foundation has therefore planned a complete renovation of the basement, which will provide access to a new garden on the lakefront. The foundation is also committed to improving the energy efficiency of this historic building, with a view to protecting the environment and conserving resources.

This second phase of major renovations at the Hollman Foundation Center—which began operations here in July 1979—follows the first extensive renovation carried out between 2021 and 2022, achieving the set goal: completely renovating the ground-floor and first-floor spaces dedicated to hosting families.
